UW Alert Seattle – Armed robbery in U District

UPDATE at 1:10 a.m. Saturday: Seattle police have tracked a cell phone that was taken in the reported armed robbery near NE 42nd St and Brooklyn Ave. NE to another area of the city. The scene in the U District is considered secure.

There were no reported injuries in the robbery.

ORIGINAL POST at 12:53 a.m. Saturday: Seattle police are responding to a reported armed robbery near NE 42nd St and Brooklyn Ave NE. The suspect displayed a firearm. Avoid the area, if possible. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
